Crash Story: |
I'd have to say during the XSBA final round in Daytona Beach, FL this year. I was out riding in practice, going over my run mentally, preparing my self for my final run. I was riding switch back, practicing my switchback burnouts. As I rode out of it, gaining speed to spin back around normal to a highchair crossover position, one of the Brazilian riders entered the track from the opposite direction. Just as I spun around, we collided! I went flying over the top of him and rolled across the pavement. I got up to see the front end of my bike totaled. I was freaking outÂ…..I had to finish 7th or better to win the championship and now without a bike, I would finish 10th. Luckily, Ronnie from DV8 blew up his motor on his 929 and we swapped front ends. With the help of like 10 people we swapped front ends in 20 min. With only a couple minutes to spare, I tested out the front end and went on to finish 1st in my final run!
