Q. What is the NSRA?
The NSRA stands for the National Stunt Riding Association.
We are a new organization that is committed to bringing the
underground sport of freestyle motorcycle stunt riding into
the mainstream, by making it a nationally recognized, high-level
competitive sport. The NSRA will give riders the opportunity
to not only showcase their skills and talent to audiences
all over the country, but it will also provide the riders
with a nationally recognized ranking system that is unique
to the stunt riding industry.
Q. Why should I become a member of the National
Stunt Riding Association?
Becoming a member of the NSRA has many benefits to both riders
and non-riders. We have created two specialized memberships
that will cater to both groups. The biggest benefit of becoming
a member as a rider, is that you will be entitled to full
insurance coverage at all of our events. To learn more about
becoming a member click

Q. Do I have to be a member to compete in sanctioned
NSRA events?
In order to compete in any National Stunt Riding Association
competition, a rider must be member in the organization. Due
to the high risks involved in the sport, it is necessary that
a rider be a member to be entitled to the insurance coverage
and benefits at all competitions. Click
here to learn about becoming a NSRA Rider Member.
Q. Should I Pre-register online for the competition
or can I just sign up the day of the event?
We do allow registration at the event, however we cannot guarantee
that a rider will be able to compete. Due to the high number
of expected participants, once the rider capacity for a particular
event is full, we will not allow further riders. We do suggest
that you conveniently pre-register online if you are planning
on entering a competition. In the interest of saving time
and money we have provided this service online for you.
Q. What are the rules?
For a complete break down of the competition format, procedures,
and scoring please download the Official National Stunt Riding
Association 2003 Rulebook online.

Rule Book.
Q. What is the format of a Regional Qualifier?
Regional qualifiers are broken down into a prelim and finals.
The riders will compete in 4 events in the prelims, Longest
Stoppie, Controlled Wheelie, Freestyle Burnout, and Xtreme
Freestyle. Once all of the riders have competed in all 4 events,
their scores will be averaged to get a total All-around score.
From there the top 15 riders will go on to compete in the
finals which will consists of 2 events, Xtreme Freestyle and
Sickest Trick. Those 2 scores will be averaged to get an All-around
score which will then put the top 15 riders in ranking order.
Q. Are there classes for Amateur and Pro riders?
Yes. We have created a system that allows Amateur riders to
enjoy the thrills of competition without the fear of having
to compete against the top Pro riders. The system is designed
to give Amatuer riders the experience and confidence needed
to one day advance to the Pro level. The difference in competition
format for Amateur and Pro classes is explained in the NSRA
Rule Book.

Rule Book.
Q. What is the purpose of the National Championships?
Just like in any other sport, we are interested in determining
the top riders in the country. A lot of hard work, money,
time and effort goes into being a rider and we feel that it
is time for riders to be recognized for their accomplishments.
A National Team will be created from the top riders at the
end of the year. The members of the National Team will experience
international travel, tours, major corporate sponsorships,
and bookings to perform exhibitions all over the US.
Q. What can I expect over the next year from
the National Stunt Riding Association?
Regional Qualifiers around the country with a National Championship.
A national ranking system to determine the best riders in
the country. Tours and demos for National Team members. Big
name musical acts at competitions. Highly organized events
with bigger payouts, increased media coverage, accredited
judges (with online certification for judges), a higher level
of professionalism, and this is just the beginning.
